We believe that:
- The Bible, as was written in the original Aramaic, Greek and Hebrew text, is divinely inspired and infallible. It has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
- The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three persons, united in the single being of the Godhead. (II Cor. 13:14; Matt. 28:19; John 14:11)
- Since the Fall, human beings are universally subject to sinfulness and guilt, which subject us to God’s wrath and condemnation. (Romans 3:23, 6:23)
- We can be redeemed from guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death (as our representative and substitute) of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God. (I Peter 2:24)
- Jesus Christ died and was resurrected (rose to life again). (I Cor. 15:3-4)
- The Holy Spirit is the one who makes the reality of Jesus’s death apparent to an individual, granting him repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:5-6, 16:8-11)
- The Holy Spirit lives in the believer and works in him to live and act according to God’s truths. (John 14:17; I Cor. 6:19)
- The Church is a company of all true believers in heaven and on earth. It finds expression in the life of local churches, which are societies of redeemed men and women who meet for common worship to God, mutual edification and witness to the Gospel. (Eph. 1:3-6; I Cor. 12:12-14)
- Our Lord Jesus Christ will personally return to the earth. (Acts 1:11; John 14:3)
- There is an eternal bliss awaiting all joined to Christ by faith and an eternal loss of all who rejected Him. (John 17:24; 14:3; 3:36; I Cor. 15:20-23)
